Since its Celtic Connections time once again in Glasgow we were delighted to hear Dean Owens' song 'Raining In Glasgow' being used by BBC Radio Scotland to promote the festival - the largest winter music festival in the world! So for this weeks classic sessions track we dug deep into the hard drives and found this version of Dean performing the track live in the studio back in 2009!

So we decided we would start posting up some tracks from, what we are calling, classic session tracks taken from the Elba Sessions of old! Here is a track from easily one of our favorite sessions, a few years ago Martin John Henry (then of De Rosa) was in the studio and played us a few live versions of material he was working on plus this version of Pest from De Rosa's 2nd album Prevention.
